Any DCPBA member may obtain assistance by calling the office of the DCPBA at: 305-593-0044 and asking for the Legal Department. The member should then identify him/herself as desiring legal assistance. The eligibility of the member will be verified and the member will be referred directly to an attorney.
You may join the PBA as soon as you become a trainee, during your probationary period or after you become a permanent employee.
After your membership has been approved by the Board of Directors, you will be eligible for benefits including legal assistance from the Dade County PBA and legal defense benefits from the Florida PBA.
The HEAT is published monthly by the Dade County Police Benevolent Association solely for the benefit of its members.
